Premier League match report Leicester City v Chelsea

Chelsea cruised to a 3-0 win over Leicester City and opened a six-point lead at the summit of the Premier League table on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues named two changes from their win over Newcastle United in Trevoh Chalobah and Mason Mount, while Leicester featured Ghanaian Daniel Amartey in defence.
Former Leicester player Ben Chilwell was unfortunate not to put the Blues a goal up on three minutes after his left-footed strike from close metres on the near side clattered the woodwork.
It needed the Blues to wait eleven minutes to make the opening after Antonio Rudiger jumped onto a pin-point corner-kick by Chilwell to head into the far corner.
Chelsea upped their advantage two minutes before the half-hour mark with a run from deep by N’Golo Kante leading to a bottom-corner finish from the Frenchman as the defence back-tracked.
This happened before the Foxes thought to have gone level through a first-time finish from the back-post by Ademola Lookman only to have the strike called off for offside.
Here is a look at the highest-paid players in the Premier League!
Brendan Rodgers pulled out a double substitution following the restart in James Maddison for Harvey Barnes and Lookman sacrificed for Kelechi Iheanacho.
It didn’t bother the Blues who instead looked to increase their tally even further through Chilwell from a ball by Callum Hudson-Odoi, but Kasper Schmeichel saved superbly.
Further trouble followed the visitors midway in as from an impossible angle to miss, Jamie Vardy headed Maddison’s tentative cross over target.
The Blues regained control near the last ten minutes and nabbed a third after a square ball into the area by Hakim Ziyech met Christian Pulisic, who finished easily.
Pulisic seemed to have snatched a double with a side-foot finish from Chilwell’s cutback minutes to the end before a one-hand stop from Edouard Mendy denied Maddison, as the match concluded.
