Raja manager: We are fully prepared for Al Ahly clash
Raja Casablanca head coach Rachid Taoussi showed confidence ahead of Al Ahly clash in the quarterfinals of the 2022 CAF Champions League.
The Red Devils managed to defeat Raja Casablanca 2-1 in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals last week.
Amr El-Sulya gave the champions the lead through a controversial penalty and they doubled their advantage minutes later before Raja Casablanca scored at the stroke of half-time.
Raja Casablanca had a difficult night in Cairo and somehow left the Al Salam Stadium with just a one-goal deficit despite Al Ahly having 11 attempts on goal throughout the game.
The Green Eagles will aim to improve in the second leg as they host Al Ahly at Mohammed V Stadium with their eyes set on a spot in the top four.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference, Head coach Rachid Taoussi stated that his team is now fully prepared to take on the title-holders.
“Preparing for the second leg game is different from preparing for the first leg one. We now have the support of our fans by playing at home,” Rachid said.
“We played against Al Ahly in the Super Cup and in the Champions League, we learned a lot about them and now we are fully prepared.
“Al Ahly is a great team and they have a lot of good players, we’ll not rush and we’ll be playing wisely.
“We’re told that in case of draw the winner will be determined through a penalty shootout, so we’ll be practicing for it tonight.
